The Borg BL5051MGPROECP is the flagship marine-grade variant of Borg's back-to-back lever/lever range - a fully mechanical digital lock that puts a complete keypad and lever on both faces of the door. A PIN code is required to pass through in either direction, which makes it the Borg answer for double-sided access control on coastal gates and doors. It combines two of Borg's premium designations in one lock: Marine Grade Pro 2 construction - 316 stainless steel internal components under a black marine external coating, tested to 1,000 hours of continuous salt spray - and Easicode Pro (ECP) on-door code changing, so codes on either side can be changed in about 30 seconds without removing the lock from the door.

Can I get a 70mm backset in the matching black marine finish?
Yes - the BLSMGPRO570 MG Pro tube latch is the black marine-grade 70mm latch made for the MG Pro 5000 and 7701 series, so the latch matches the lock's corrosion tier as well as its colour. The satin chrome BLL500070 also fits if finish is not a concern.

Do I order left or right handed?
Neither - the lock is reversible on site for left and right hand doors, and the handing procedure for both keypad units is in the BL5000 ECP instruction set (PDF). Set the handing before mounting the units to the door.

The door already has a Lockwood 3572 mortice - can this lock go straight on?
Yes, with the BL50013572KBTB back-to-back adaptor kit - it mounts both 5000-series keypad units onto the existing 3572 mortice prep, driving the mortice instead of a tubular latch. On this back-to-back model the inside unit is the same BL5000-series keypad body as the outside unit - both faces measure identically.
Back-to-back keypad and lever drawing: keypad body 177mm high x 48mm wide, 26mm body depth from the door face, 115mm lever, 89mm total projection including the lever. These are the figures used in the dimensions table on the Description tab.

Borg products sold in Australia are covered against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Warranty claims are handled by Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries.

How to Make a Claim

- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd first if you purchased through us or one of its associated trading names - we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
- Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation).
- Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
- If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
