The Carbine CEL2-3IN1 Digital Leverset (CEL2-3IN1-SL8MBKIT) is the standalone leverset in the CEL2-3IN1 range, providing three access methods: touchscreen PIN code, RFID/NFC credential, and mechanical key override. It stores up to 100 combined codes and RFID credentials in a shared pool, with no hub, gateway, or internet connection required.
The CEL2-3IN1 leverset is the second generation of the original CEL-3IN1, featuring a new lower-profile escutcheon and improved touchscreen and motor. Credential capacity has increased from 25 PIN codes + 25 RFID cards to 100 combined. The leverset is designed to IP54 and carries an NCC compliant SL8 lever, with Firecore fire rating certification. Incorrect routing is the most common installation error — a pinched cable causes an unresponsive keypad, a battery cover that won’t close, or the Set button being held down permanently. What batteries does it use and how long do they last?
Four AA 1.5V alkaline batteries (Duracell Procell recommended), included in this KIT. Do not use lithium or rechargeable batteries. Expect around 5,000 openings per set, with a low-battery LED and tone warning before they run flat. If they do go flat, the mechanical key still opens the door. The keypad stopped responding after I fitted the battery cover — what's wrong?
Almost always a pinched connecting cable. The cable between the outside and inside modules must sit in its channel in the mounting plate; if it is trapped it can hold the Set button down or cut power, leaving the keypad dead and the cover hard to close. How to Make a Claim

- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd (the place of purchase) in writing as soon as the defect becomes apparent - and no later than 14 days after the end of the applicable warranty period.
- Include in your written claim: a description of the defect, the date of supply, your contact details, and satisfactory proof of purchase.
- Do not return the product until a return authorisation number has been issued by Davcor. If return is required, the product must be in its original, complete, and saleable packaging.
- Davcor will test and assess the product. No claim is valid unless Davcor has confirmed a defect is present.
- Once a valid claim is confirmed, Davcor will - at its discretion - repair the defect, replace the product, or supply an equivalent product. If repair or replacement cannot be completed within a reasonable time, you may request a full refund, provided the product has been returned.
Delivery inspection: If you believe a product is defective or incorrectly supplied at the time of delivery, telephone notice must be given within 72 hours of receipt, with written notice (including full particulars) within 14 days of the invoice date.
