Carbine CEL-RFID-WB MIFARE Silicone Wristband – Blue
The Carbine CEL-RFID-WB is a MIFARE 13.56MHz RFID silicone wristband designed as an additional or replacement credential for Carbine CEL-3IN1 and CEL2 series digital locks. Sold individually, it is compatible with any CEL lock that reads MIFARE (ISO14443 Type A) credentials. See: Buyers Guide Ch03: RFID access methods.
The wristband is the hands-free option in the CEL credential range — worn on the wrist, it allows a user to present their credential to the lock without retrieving anything from a pocket, bag, or keyring. It is rated IP68 for water resistance, making it suitable for environments where the credential may be exposed to rain, splashing, or submersion — including poolside, gym, and outdoor trade settings.
Like all CEL RFID credentials, the wristband operates at 13.56MHz using the MIFARE chip standard (ISO14443 Type A). It is not compatible with EMV chips used in bank cards (Visa PayWave, Mastercard PayPass), which use ISO14443 Type B. Each wristband is enrolled directly through the lock’s programming mode; no separate programmer, software, or app is required.

All five credential types are compatible with Carbine CEL-3IN1 and CEL2 RFID-capable locks. Choose the format that best suits your users:

The wristband is the best choice when carrying a separate credential is impractical — poolside, at a gym, or during outdoor trade work where pockets may be unavailable. It is also practical for children or elderly users who benefit from a credential they wear rather than carry. For standard wallet carry, the CEL-RFID card is simpler; for keyring carry, the CEL-RFID-FOB is more convenient.
IP68 is the highest standard waterproof rating for consumer wearables. It confirms the wristband has been tested for continuous submersion beyond 1 metre in fresh water. In practical terms, this means the wristband can be worn while swimming in a pool, showering, or working outdoors in rain without damage to the embedded RFID chip. Note that IP68 ratings are tested in still, fresh water — prolonged exposure to chlorinated pool water or salt water may degrade the silicone band over time. Rinse the wristband with fresh water after pool or ocean use to extend its service life.
On the CEL2 series, PIN codes and RFID credentials share a combined pool of 100 credentials. On the CEL2-BT leverset series, the pool is 200 combined credentials (PIN codes + RFID + 10 separate Bluetooth users). Wristbands, cards, stickers, and fobs all draw from the same RFID pool. The wristband is enrolled through the lock’s programming mode in the same way as any other RFID credential. Enter programming mode using the master code, select the Add Credential function, then present the wristband to the RFID reader zone on the lock body. RFID credential access is available on all CEL2-BT leverset models. It is not available on the CEL2-BT deadbolt variants (CEL2-BT-DBSNKIT / CEL2-BT-DBMBKIT), which support PIN and Bluetooth only. Confirm your lock model before ordering.
Additional Information
The IP68 rating confirms the wristband is suitable for submersion, but all IP ratings are tested in still, fresh water under controlled conditions. Prolonged exposure to chlorinated pool water or salt water may degrade the silicone band over time. Rinsing the wristband with fresh water after pool or ocean use will extend its service life. The embedded RFID chip and antenna are fully sealed within the silicone and are not affected by water exposure within the rated parameters.
The CEL lock reads MIFARE credentials only (ISO14443 Type A, 13.56MHz). Credit cards including Visa PayWave and Mastercard PayPass use EMV chips (ISO14443 Type B) and will not register on the lock. On CEL locks, PIN codes and RFID credentials draw from a shared pool. Wristbands, cards, stickers, and fobs all count against the same RFID allocation. Plan your credential mix before issuing across multiple users. In environments such as gyms or pools where multiple users require wristband access, confirm the total credential capacity of your specific CEL model before purchasing a large quantity of wristbands.
If a wristband is lost, the credential can be deleted from the lock individually through programming mode without affecting other enrolled credentials. This is a key advantage over mechanical keys — a lost wristband does not require a lock rekey. Refer to the CEL-3IN1 User Guide for the credential deletion procedure.

How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry’s Tradies Pty Ltd (the place of purchase) in writing as soon as the defect becomes apparent — and no later than 14 days after the end of the applicable warranty period.
- Include in your written claim: a description of the defect, the date of supply, your contact details, and satisfactory proof of purchase.
- Do not return the product until a return authorisation number has been issued by Davcor. If return is required, the product must be in its original, complete, and saleable packaging.
- Davcor will test and assess the product. No claim is valid unless Davcor has confirmed a defect is present.
- Once a valid claim is confirmed, Davcor will — at its discretion — repair the defect, replace the product, or supply an equivalent product. If repair or replacement cannot be completed within a reasonable time, you may request a full refund, provided the product has been returned.
Delivery inspection: If you believe a product is defective or incorrectly supplied at the time of delivery, telephone notice must be given within 72 hours of receipt, with written notice (including full particulars) within 14 days of the invoice date.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
