Vault Titan Push Pull Smart Lock with 3D Face Recognition

.
Titan runs on Bluetooth as standard. Remote access, activity history and smart-home functionality (Alexa and Google Home) are available when the lock is paired with the optional Vault G5 Wi-Fi Gateway. It suits timber and aluminium entry doors from 35 mm to 60 mm thick.
Usually ships in 3 business days.

Facial Recognition Access

3D structured-light recognition captures depth rather than a flat image. For a plain-English explanation of why 3D differs from a 2D camera, see Chapter 06 - 2D vs 3D facial recognition.
Confirm the exact product revision and installation suitability before purchase.
The external (outside) module is IP55 weather rated for everyday outdoor exposure. IP55 indicates protection against limited dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. Wi-Fi Remote Access (Optional)
This smart lock operates via Bluetooth connectivity as standard. Remote access and internet-based control become available only when it is paired with a compatible Vault Wi-Fi gateway.
When connected to a gateway, you can remotely manage access, review activity, and add supported Alexa or Google Home functionality. A gateway is not required for local use. For what a gateway does and does not add, see Chapter 08 - what a gateway does.
Smart lock gateways use the 2.4GHz band. If your router auto-merges 2.4GHz and 5GHz, review the band-steering problem before setup.
For remote functionality, see the Vault G5 Gateway.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Titan includes 3D facial recognition, which reads facial depth rather than a flat image. See Chapter 06 - 2D vs 3D facial recognition for the difference.
Yes. The Titan has an internal cat-eye viewing screen that works as a digital peephole, so you can see who is outside without opening the door. It does not include an intercom, so there is no two-way audio or video to your phone.
Titan suits doors 35 mm to 60 mm thick and includes a 6068 (60mm backset) mortice. Confirm your backset and door thickness before ordering using Chapter 02 - Measuring Your Door.
Yes, but only when paired with the Vault G5 Wi-Fi Gateway. On its own the lock runs on Bluetooth for local unlocking and management. If your Wi-Fi drops, see why smart locks drop off Wi-Fi.
The external module is IP55 weather rated for everyday outdoor exposure. The internal module houses the battery and electronics and is for interior use only. For what IP ratings mean and coastal exposure guidance, see Chapter 11 - IP Ratings.
Additional Information
The internal cat-eye screen is a viewing feature only. It shows the exterior camera on an interior display so you can check who is at the door before opening. It is not a video doorbell and does not stream to your phone or provide two-way audio. The same screen feature is shared with the Vault Olympus. If you need a phone intercom, look at the Vault Vision range instead.
Titan is supplied with a 6068 (60mm backset) mortice. Confirm the backset, lock centres and door prep against the actual door and frame before ordering. For mortice format background see Chapter 01 - mortice deadbolts and Measuring Your Lock Backset.
Titan is an integrated push pull smart lock handle. If you are replacing an existing vertical push pull handle, take the five measurements first and review the integrated-handle pathway in Smart Locks on Vertical Push Pull Handle Doors. For complex or commercial installs, Terry's offers a site survey and installation service.
The external module is IP55 rated for everyday outdoor exposure, but the internal unit is interior-use only. In coastal Gold Coast conditions, salt air and direct sun affect all electronic hardware over time. For realistic expectations on battery life and maintenance, see The Realities of Electronic Door Locks and How Long Do Digital Door Locks Last?
Titan runs on a rechargeable lithium battery with a low-voltage alarm, and a mechanical key override remains available in every power condition. For where the keyhole is hidden and what to do when the battery is flat, see Mechanical Key Override - When the Battery Dies.
Titan sits in Vault's push pull face-recognition range alongside the Quantum, Fortress, Nexus and the slimline Zenith. For the full lineup, manuals and the Vault brand background, see the Vault Smart Lock Range and Chapter 10 - Vault brand profile.
