These mortice types are not interchangeable. Door type, pitch, backset and lock geometry must match the lock system being installed. Sliding hook mortices are for sliding doors only, while the 6068 smart mortice uses a different 68mm pitch and should not be confused with standard 85mm Euro mortice systems. The Fortress Innovative Mortice is an auto-locking body specific to Vault push-pull smart locks.

Can this replace a standard Euro mortice?
No. The 6068 mortice has different geometry and is not interchangeable with 85mm pitch Euro mortice locks such as the Hinged Euro Mortice.
Does this include a privacy function?

Compatibility Warning: This lock must not be confused with 85mm pitch Euro mortice systems such as the 6085 or 3585 configurations in the Hinged Euro Mortice range.
Backset and Pitch: This mortice is 60mm backset with a 68mm pitch (lock centres). Confirm your handle position and pitch before ordering - see Chapter 02 - Measuring Your Door and our note on the wrong backset.

Vault Smart Locks products purchased in Australia are covered against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or commercial use for:
  • Standard range: 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Select Signature Range models: 24 months (as stated on the product listing or packaging)
Cover applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Batteries and battery-related damage, consumables, cosmetic finishes, incorrect or unlicensed installation, misuse, and normal wear and tear are excluded.
