Vault Olympus Push Pull Smart Lock with 3D Face Recognition
The Vault Olympus is a full-size push-pull smart mortice lock for main entry doors. It combines 3D facial recognition with fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card or fob, Bluetooth app and mechanical key access, and ships configured with a 6068 (60mm backset) mortice to suit standard entry doors.
An internal cat-eye viewing screen lets you see who is at the door from inside the home without opening it, and the lock is built from an aluminium alloy body. Olympus operates on the Vault Smart Locks app, available for iOS
and Android
.
Olympus runs on Bluetooth as standard. Remote access, activity history and remote passcodes are available when the lock is paired with the optional Vault G5 Gateway. It suits timber and aluminium entry doors from 35mm to 60mm thick. For the closely related model, see the Vault Titan.
Estimated warehouse dispatch is 3 business days.
Facial Recognition Access
Olympus includes 3D facial recognition for fast, touch-free entry, alongside fingerprint, PIN, RFID card, Bluetooth app control and backup key access.
3D structured-light recognition captures depth rather than a flat image. For a plain-English explanation of why 3D differs from a 2D camera, see Chapter 06 - 2D vs 3D facial recognition.
Confirm the exact product revision and installation suitability before purchase.
The Olympus and the Vault Titan feature an internal cat-eye screen, so you can see who is at the door from inside the home without opening it.
The external (outside) module is IP55 weather rated for everyday outdoor exposure against limited dust ingress and low-pressure water jets. The internal module, which houses the battery compartment and electronics, is for interior use only and is not weather rated. See the IP ratings guide, and for salt-air positions our notes on coastal environments.

Battery, Power and Backup Access
Olympus is powered by a rechargeable 300 mAh lithium battery. A low-voltage alarm (under 6.8V) warns you when the battery is running low so you can recharge before the lock stops responding.

Wi-Fi Remote Access (Optional)
Olympus is controlled over Bluetooth from the Vault Smart Locks app as standard. Bluetooth control works when you are near the door and needs no internet connection.
Adding the optional Vault G5 Gateway bridges the lock to your home Wi-Fi so you can unlock remotely, issue and revoke passcodes from anywhere, and view unlock history. For how a gateway works and whether you need one, see what a gateway does and the note on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and band steering, or the blog on whether you need a gateway at all.
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, with the optional Vault G5 Gateway. Without the gateway it works locally over Bluetooth and onboard credentials. See Wi-Fi and remote access.
Additional Information
The 6068 special mortice format should be confirmed against your actual door preparation before ordering. Common fitting errors are covered in backset mistakes and spindle mistakes. On the Gold Coast we also offer a measure and install service.
3D recognition is convenient but should be enrolled carefully and paired with a PIN or fingerprint as a backup. For how face recognition performs, its privacy considerations and liveness detection, see liveness detection and the privacy notes.
Olympus is a push-pull face-recognition mortice lock with an internal cat-eye screen, closely related to the Titan. Other push-pull options include the Fortress, Quantum, the deadbolt Nexus and the slimline Zenith. See the full Vault range guide and the Vault brand profile.
