McGrath TGFP43 Slimline Access Control Keypad with Fingerprint - Silver
The McGrath TGFP43 is a standalone slimline access control keypad with an integrated fingerprint reader. Hardwired at 12 volt DC, it can be used to control electric strikes, automatic doors, garage doors and gates via its built-in relay output. Access is managed through fingerprint, PIN code, RFID credential and Bluetooth eKey, all configured and administered in the McGrath Locks App.
The TGFP43 communicates locally via Bluetooth 5.0 BLE. Remote Wi-Fi access is available by adding a compatible McGrath gateway (sold separately), which connects the keypad to the app from anywhere. Its slimline 43.5mm wide zinc alloy housing with capacitive touch glass screen makes it well suited to installations where a narrow profile is required.
Usually same day when ordered before 11am AEST (excluding weekends and QLD public holidays).

The TGFP43 is a standalone hardwired access controller - not a door lock and not a wireless accessory keypad. All fingerprints, PIN codes, RFID credentials and Bluetooth users are stored internally. When a valid credential is presented, the TGFP43 activates its internal relay (NO / NC / COM) to release a connected electric strike, magnetic lock, gate motor, garage door or automatic door. It does not need to be paired to a separate smart lock.
By default the TGFP43 is Bluetooth-only for remote management. Adding a compatible McGrath gateway connects it over Wi-Fi, enabling full remote access through the McGrath Locks App from anywhere. For guidance on which gateway suits your installation, see the Gateway Comparison chapter or the G2 vs G3 vs G4 vs G5 comparison.
Access Methods
Comparing credential types? The Access Methods chapter of our Smart Lock Buyer's Guide covers fingerprint, PIN, RFID and Bluetooth in detail - including where each excels.

McGrath Locks App
The TGFP43 is managed through the McGrath Locks App, McGrath's customised build on the TTLock platform (also compatible with TTRenting and TTHotel for property management and hospitality use). The app handles user enrolment for all credential types, eKey issue and revocation, time-limited and one-time passcodes, passage mode, scheduling, and audit trail review.
The McGrath Locks App is available on both Apple and Android devices ![]()
(iOS 7.0 and above, Android 4.3 and above). For day-to-day platform guidance, see the TTLock Platform Guide and TTLock Tips and Tricks. For short-stay rental use, see Using TTLock for Airbnb in Australia.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. The TGFP43 is a standalone access controller. It does not include a lock, deadbolt or latch. It controls a connected electric strike, magnetic lock, gate motor or automatic door via its built-in relay output.
The TGFP43 is Bluetooth-only without a gateway. To enable remote Wi-Fi management from anywhere, add a compatible McGrath gateway - the G3 (PoE), G4 (4G) or G5 (dual-band). Our Gateway Comparison chapter explains the differences.
The TGFP43 stores up to 100 fingerprints. If you need higher fingerprint capacity, the RBH52 stores up to 500 fingerprints and includes built-in Wi-Fi.
The TGFP43 reads 13.56MHz MIFARE credentials. McGrath's MIFARE 1K cards, fobs, stickers and wristbands all work with this reader.
The TGFP43 includes an anti-peep code function to prevent PIN observation, incorrect-attempt lockout, and the reset button can be disabled in the app. For PIN management tips, see TTLock Tips and Tricks.
McGrath smart locks and access control are backed by long-established Australian industry partners and supported locally by Terry's. Additional Information
The TGFP43's 43.5mm wide body is the key reason to choose it over the wider TGFP70 or the RBH52. If your installation is in a standard gate post, narrow aluminium stile, or any location where width is constrained, the TGFP43 is the natural candidate. The trade-off is that Wi-Fi remote access requires a separately purchased gateway, and fingerprint capacity is 100 rather than 500. If neither limitation applies, the TGFP43 delivers the same core platform - the same McGrath Locks App, the same credential types, the same relay wiring - in a slimmer package.
For buyers comparing access-control keypads across brands, the App Platforms chapter covers the TTLock ecosystem alongside Igloohome, Yale and Carbine Connect, and Which App Platform Is Right for You is a buyer-facing decision guide.
