Borg BLS202 Inside Handle with Holdback - Suits 2000 Series Knob Keypads - Satin Chrome
The Borg BLS202 is an inside handle assembly with holdback in satin chrome for Borg 2000 Series knob keypad locks. It is used where holdback is wanted - the latch held back so the door opens without a code - or to replace a worn or damaged inside handle.
It suits the eight satin chrome locks listed under Compatible Locks, including the BL2200, BL2201SCECP and BL2000SC. It is supplied as a single inside handle assembly.
The BLS202 is brought in to order and cannot be returned for change of mind, so confirm it is the right handle for your lock and contact us for the current lead time before ordering. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods are unaffected.

It suits eight satin chrome Borg knob keypad locks: the BL2000SC, BL2200SC, BL2201SCECP, BL2202SC, BL2600MGBC, BL2701SCECP, BL2702SCECP and BL2901SCECP.
Holdback keeps the latch retracted so the door opens without a code. On the 2000 Series locks, Borg's manual sets it by turning the handle 90 degrees and pushing the snib; it is released by operating the inside handle - the inside paddle on the BL2200. Passage mode versus holdback mode explains how the two functions differ.
On the 2000 Series locks the hand is set at the inside handle. Borg's BL2000 Series manual leaves a right hand hung door as supplied and, for a left hand hung door, moves the blue handing screw on the back of the inside handle from point A to point B. Check the hand when you fit the replacement.
No - the BLS202 is satin chrome only. For a polished brass lock such as the BL2200PB, contact us before ordering.

Warranty
All Borg locks are warranted against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a minimum of 12 months from date of sale. The warranty does not cover damage arising from misuse, vandalism, or improper installation. The lock must not be dismantled - doing so will invalidate the warranty. Proof of purchase required for all claims.

How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd first if you purchased through us or one of its associated trading names - we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
- Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation).
- Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
- If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
