Borg BLS703 Handle Return Spring - Suits 7000 Series

The Borg BLS703 is the handle return spring for Borg 7000 Series mechanical digital keypad locks - on our range, the BL7701 heavy duty lever/lever. It restores the return action where the spring tension has weakened with use, and it fits the keypad side and inside handle.

It suits Borg 7000 Series keypads and is special order, non-returnable.

The BLS703 suits the Borg 7000 Series keypads. On our current range that is the BL7701 heavy duty lever/lever, whose spares table lists this spring. For 5000 Series locks made from 2016 onwards use the BLS513MK3; for the 2000 Series use the BLS203.

Does it suit the 5000 Series?
No - the 5000 Series uses a different return spring. This one is 7000 Series.
Does it fit both sides of the lock?
Yes - it suits both the keypad-side and inside handle on the 7000 Series. It is supplied as a single spring.

Borg Locks Warranty - 12 Months (Australia)
All Borg locks are warranted against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a minimum of 12 months from date of sale. The warranty does not cover damage arising from misuse, vandalism, or improper installation. The lock must not be dismantled - doing so will invalidate the warranty. Proof of purchase required for all claims.
Purchased through Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd or one of its associated trading names? Contact us first - we will manage your warranty claim with the Australian distributor (LSC) on your behalf. This warranty operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Borg products sold in Australia are covered against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Warranty claims are handled by Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries.

How to Make a Claim

  1. Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd first if you purchased through us or one of its associated trading names - we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
  2. Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation).
  3. Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
  4. If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
