The Yale Y500/187/1 Combination Key Access Safe is a wall-mounted key box that stores a spare set of keys behind a resettable 4-digit combination lock. It lets family members, carers, tradespeople or guests collect a key without a physical handover, and without leaving keys under the mat.
The die-cast body is protected by a tough impact-resistant plastic shroud and a sliding cover that conceals the dials and improves weather resistance, so the safe suits sheltered outdoor mounting as well as indoor use. The internal compartment is large enough to hold several keys on the built-in hook.
Access is purely mechanical: a 4-wheel combination lock you can reset to your own code at any time. There are no batteries, no app and nothing to connect, so there is nothing to go flat and no account to manage.

Push the reset lever back up into its original position. Close the door and scramble the dials to conceal the code. Your new combination is set.

- Keep your proof of original purchase (invoice or receipt).
- Contact Gold Coast Smart Locks - operated by Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries - as your authorised retailer, and follow the steps on our Returns & Warranty page.
- Return the product securely packed to protect it in transit, together with your proof of purchase and your name, address, email and phone number.
- ASSA ABLOY assesses the claim. Where the warranty applies, they will (at their option) repair the product, replace it with the same or closest equivalent Yale product, or refund the price you paid.
