The lid opens with a ten-digit resettable combination and stores up to three standard keys securely inside.

The body is constructed from zinc-alloy with a protective rubber shell that is rust-resistant and will not scratch the surface it is hung on. The shackle itself is covered to prevent surface damage. Available in Titanium (SU1192) and Clay (SU1350) finishes, both variants are mechanically identical. Does this key safe need to be drilled into a wall?
No. The C3 Portable uses a padlock-style shackle that hangs directly onto a door knob, fence rail, pipe, or similar fixture. No drilling, anchoring, or tools are required. This makes it fully portable and relocatable.

Can the code be changed after installation?
Yes. The ten-digit combination is fully resettable at any time. This is useful when access personnel change - for example, when a cleaner, tradesperson, or short-term tenant no longer needs access.

What is the difference between the C3 and the S5 or S6 wall-mount models?
The C3 (this product) is a portable, shackle-hung key safe that requires no fixings. The S5 and S6 are permanently wall-mounted models that require screws. The S5 holds 5 keys; the S6 holds 2 keys. Choose the C3 when permanent mounting is not possible.

Will the shackle scratch my door knob or railing?
The shackle includes a protective cover specifically to prevent surface damage when hung on a door knob or metal fitting.

Is this suitable for outdoor use?
The zinc-alloy body with rubber shell is rust-resistant and suitable for sheltered outdoor locations such as a covered porch, undercover fence, or carport. Prolonged direct rain exposure on a fully exposed site is not recommended for any key safe in this class.

Additional Information

Change the code when access personnel change. The resettable combination is the C3's primary security management tool. Treat each new contractor, cleaner, or tenant as a new access event and reset the code before and after their period of access.

The override key must live outside the home. If you have a smart lock with a mechanical key override, store the key in a C3 mounted outside - not inside. A key safe inside the home is inaccessible when the smart lock fails and you are locked out.

Not a substitute for a permanently secured key safe in high-security contexts. The C3 is designed for convenience access management - cleaning crews, contractors, and property visits.
