What makes the Pro S7 different from the S5?
The S7 holds 7 keys and has a larger body (108 x 83 x 70 mm) than the S5 (105 x 65 x 55 mm, 5 keys). The S7 also includes the weather cover in the box, accommodates access cards and large-handle keys, and has a hinged lid that cannot be dropped. The S7 is available in Black only; the S5 comes in White, Clay, and Titanium.

How does the pushbutton combination work?
You select which buttons form your combination and press them to open - the order does not matter, only the set of buttons pressed. Over 1,024 combinations are possible. The combination is resettable at any time using the tool stored inside the lid.

Can I store access cards in the S7?
Yes. The extra-large cavity is designed to accommodate access cards alongside standard keys - useful for commercial settings where both card credentials and physical keys need to be stored in the same accessible location.

Can I use the S7 to store a smart lock's mechanical override key?

Does the weather cover need to be removed to access the key safe?
Yes. The rubber weather cover lifts off to reveal the pushbutton keypad and lid. It is designed for easy one-handed removal and reinstallation.

Additional Information

The override key must live outside the home. If you have a smart lock with a mechanical key override, store the override key in a key safe mounted outside the property - not inside.
