McGrath Locks Wireless Remote - Black with Silver Trim
The McGrath Locks Wireless Remote is a compact single-channel Bluetooth fob that adds one-touch remote release to a compatible McGrath smart lock or control module. It communicates with the lock over Bluetooth from roughly 8 to 10 metres away, so it is well suited to reception desks, offices and controlled entry points where reaching the lock directly is impractical.
Paired through the McGrath app, the remote gives fast lock and unlock control of a supported lock. Used with a compatible Z Chip, it can also trigger a connected device such as a roller door or gate. Up to 15 remotes can be added to a single lock or device.
Usually same day if ordered before 11am AEST (excluding weekends and QLD public holidays)
Compatible McGrath smart locks and control modules paired through the McGrath app - for example the Grange Entrance Pull Handle Smart Lock, the A210 Slimline Digital Mortice Lock, and the UltraSecua Screen Door Smartlock. Connected-device release (roller door or gate) requires a compatible Z Chip. Confirm remote support for your specific model before ordering.

Battery & Power
The remote runs on a single 3V CR2032 lithium coin cell, which is included and factory installed. Rated battery life is up to about 1000 button presses, so real-world life depends on how often the remote is used. CR2032 cells are widely available, and the screw-fixed housing means the battery is replaceable when it eventually runs down.
McGrath smart locks run on a customised, McGrath-branded TTLock platform that is managed, supported and distributed locally in Australia. Remotes are added and managed through the McGrath app. Australian staff handle warranty, troubleshooting and product queries. The underlying cloud infrastructure is provided by TTLock, a globally deployed IoT platform.

Yes, when used with a compatible Z Chip the remote can trigger a connected device such as a roller door or gate. Without a Z Chip it operates a paired McGrath lock only.

Additional Information
A wireless remote is a convenient extra layer alongside the lock's normal access methods, and it is especially handy for staffed reception areas where someone needs to release the door without leaving the desk. Because each remote learns into only one lock or device, plan one fob per door and label them if you run several.
The remote works within the McGrath smart lock ecosystem, which runs on a locally supported McGrath-branded TTLock platform. For background on how that platform works and how McGrath fits the wider range, see the TTLock Platform Guide, the app platforms chapter, and the McGrath section of the brand profiles chapter.
