Lockwood 3772NOHDSS Selector 3772 MkII Universal Primary Mortice Lock - No Hub Disc - 60 mm Backset - Satin Stainless Steel
The Lockwood 3772NOHDSS is a Selector 3772 MkII universal primary mortice lock from the ASSA ABLOY-owned Lockwood Selector 3700 Series, supplied in the No Hub Disc configuration with a 60 mm backset and a Satin Stainless Steel faceplate and strike.
"No Hub Disc" means the lock case uses a split (independent) follower rather than a connecting hub disc - the inside and outside lever furniture operate their own halves of the follower independently. This build is supplied with standard sprung hubs, so it accepts non-sprung lever furniture on both sides. It is the same heavy-duty Selector 3772 case used across commercial and institutional sites, sharing the range's field-selectable functions, auxiliary deadlatching and the wider 3772 accessory ecosystem.
The lock body is designed to house a Lockwood 570-series oval cylinder (ordered separately) and can be configured into any of the Selector escape functions via the correct cylinder cam and adaptor. It is fire tested to AS 1905.1 and rated to AS 4145.2 for commercial durability and security.
Key Features
- No Hub Disc (split follower): inside and outside furniture operate independent follower halves - the standard build ships with sprung hubs so non-sprung lever furniture can be used.
- Universal primary case: field-configured into the full range of Selector escape functions via the correct cylinder cam (X7 or V) and adaptor.
- Auxiliary deadlatching latch bolt: 15 mm stainless steel latch with an anti-thrust deadlatching bolt for secure closure.
- In-door function selector: red/green selector under the faceplate for simple on-site function setting on MkII cases.
- Non-handed / field reversible: handed on site without disassembly, so one lock covers left and right-hand doors.
- Robust construction: zinc alloy case body on a stainless steel chassis, with a radius-end Satin Stainless Steel faceplate.
- 570-series cylinder platform: accepts Lockwood 570 oval cylinders and integrates with Lockwood restricted and master key systems (cylinder ordered separately).
- Upgrade-ready: retrofits to Synergy 3570 mortice case sizes and converts to a digital keypad lock via the shared 3772 DX and Cortex conversion kits.
Tested for use on fire door assemblies up to 4 hours in accordance with AS 1905.1:2005 (Part 1). Holdback function configurations of the 3772 range are not fire door rated - specify a non-holdback build for fire doors. For the concept and certification background, see our guide to fire door core types (Buyers Guide Chapter 05), the fire door types and lock testing explainer, and the AS 1905.1 test-report reference.
The Selector 3772 case is engineered for offices, schools, hospitals and government buildings where the door is used continuously. Rated to AS 4145.2 for commercial durability and security - see Australian Standards (Chapter 11 - AS 4145.2).

Frequently Asked Questions
It means the lock case uses a split (independent) follower instead of a connecting hub disc, so the inside and outside lever furniture operate their own halves independently. It is chosen where each side must work separately, or to suit specific furniture and cam configurations. The standard No Hub Disc build ships with sprung hubs, so non-sprung furniture can be used.
No. The 3772NOHDSS is a lock body only. A Lockwood 570-series oval cylinder and the correct cam (X7 or V) are ordered separately to match your keying system and function - this lets the lock integrate with restricted and master key systems. See how key override works for background.
Yes - the 3772 case is tested to AS 1905.1:2005 (Part 1) for use on fire door assemblies up to 4 hours, in non-holdback configurations. Holdback (H) function builds are not fire door rated. Read what makes a lock fire-door compliant.
Yes. The same 3772 case accepts the 3772-DXKITSC DX digital conversion kit (or the key-override version), or you can step up to the standalone Lockwood Cortex CTX3772 digital lockset.
No - the 3772 case is non-handed and can be reversed on site without disassembly, so one lock covers both left and right-hand doors. If you are unsure how handing is described in Australia, see door handing and field-reversibility.
Additional Information
Sprung vs non-sprung, hub disc vs no hub disc. The Selector 3772 case is offered in matched build combinations. Sprung-hub builds carry return springs inside the case, so they can be used with plain (non-sprung) lever furniture. Non-Sprung Furniture (NSF) builds have no case return springs and must be paired with sprung lever furniture. "No Hub Disc" is a separate choice that splits the follower so each side operates independently. This 3772NOHDSS is the No Hub Disc build with standard sprung hubs; if you also need non-sprung furniture, use the 3772NSFNOHDSS instead.
Cam selection matters. The function you get is determined by the cylinder cam (X7 or V) and the adaptor fitted, not by a different lock body. Confirm the intended function before ordering the cam and cylinder. For a plain-English refresher on the mortice lock format and how it differs from other ANSI functions, see the F05 vs F54 mortice locks guide, and confirm your backset with Buyers Guide Chapter 02 - Measuring Your Door (or the measuring your backset how-to).
Deadlatching and secondary-lock context. The 3772 latch is auxiliary deadlatching, which resists loiding (slipping the latch). On apartment and strata fire doors this matters for the one-penetration principle - see secondary locks and the one-penetration principle.
Access control and electric strikes. The 3772 is electric-strike compatible via the ES2100 faceplate kits, so it drops into monitored access-control installations without changing the mortice pocket.
Accessibility (DDA). As a lock body, the 3772NOHDSS is not itself DDA compliant - accessibility depends on the lever furniture and door assembly. If your project must meet AS 1428.1, review Buyers Guide Chapter 09 - DDA, NDIS & Accessibility and choose compliant lever furniture accordingly.
Standards, brand and installation. Lockwood is an ASSA ABLOY brand and Australia's most widely specified commercial lock range - see Buyers Guide Chapter 10 - Brand Profiles. For the standards stack (AS 1905.1, AS 4145.2, D and S grades), see Chapter 11 - Australian Standards. Drilling or morticing a fire door carries asbestos and compliance risk in older buildings - read asbestos in apartment fire doors and consider Terry's supply and installation service.
