ASSA ABLOY Aperio C103EURO35-35E/M Euro Cylinder - 35/35 Electronic / Mechanical (No Finish)
The C103EURO35-35E/M is a genuine ASSA ABLOY hybrid Euro profile cylinder for use with compatible Aperio electronic locking systems. It provides a 35mm electronic cylinder on the A side (the access-controlled side, typically exterior) and a 35mm mechanical cylinder on the B side (typically interior, key override).
This configuration is specified where controlled Aperio electronic access is required from one side of the door while retaining a mechanical key override from the opposite side. The cylinder is supplied with no decorative finish - the body finish is determined by the escutcheon or cylinder rose fitted to the installation. For the equivalent mechanical-only cylinder in Satin Chrome, see the SP570-C120SC.
Special Order - contact us to confirm lead time and availability before ordering.
The Aperio C103EURO35-35E/M is a restricted product that can only be sold to accredited installers. It is a special order item and is non-returnable unless faulty. Confirm Aperio system compatibility and cylinder format before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions
In a Euro cylinder, the "A side" is the side from which electronic credential access occurs - typically the exterior face. The "B side" is the opposite face - typically the interior, fitted with a mechanical key. On the C103EURO35-35E/M, the A side (35mm, electronic) handles Aperio RFID credential access; the B side (35mm, mechanical) allows egress by mechanical key from the interior. Total cylinder length is 70mm (35mm + 35mm).
The Aperio electronic cylinder side interfaces with the Aperio hub and EAC system to process RFID credential transactions. Supported RFID technologies are determined by the connected Aperio hub and EAC platform configuration. For an overview of how RFID credentials work in access control systems, see Chapter 03 of our Buyer's Guide.
Euro cylinder length is expressed as the combined A+B measurement. The C103EURO35-35E/M is 35mm + 35mm = 70mm total. The correct cylinder length depends on the door thickness and hardware profile. A cylinder that is too short will not reach the fixing screw; too long and it presents a security vulnerability (snap attack risk). See our guide to Euro vs ANSI mortice format differences for broader context on cylinder-based lock hardware.
The C103EURO35-35E/M cylinder body is supplied unfinished. In an Aperio installation, the cylinder sits within an escutcheon or cylinder rose that provides the visible decorative finish. Specifying the finish-matched escutcheon separately gives the installer flexibility to match the surrounding door hardware. The H100 Cylinder Escutcheon accessories in the parts table above are available in Matt Black and Satin Pearl.
Additional Information
Euro profile format - confirm before ordering: The Euro profile cylinder format is common in European and commercial Australian installations but is not the same as the oval cylinder used in many standard Australian residential deadlatches and deadbolts. Confirm that the target Aperio system and door hardware accept a Euro profile cylinder before specifying. An oval cylinder and a Euro cylinder are not interchangeable.
Cylinder security: Euro profile cylinders can be vulnerable to snap attacks if they protrude too far beyond the face of the door hardware. Ensure the cylinder length matches the door and hardware profile precisely - excess protrusion should be avoided. Specify and install with an accredited Aperio installer.
Mechanical-only alternative: Where the B side mechanical function is not required and only a mechanical cylinder body is needed, the SP570-C120SC mechanical-only cylinder is the companion product.
